1. What are cookies?

– For the Mozilla Firefox browser:
To delete cookies:
In the upper part of the Firefox window, click on the Firefox button, scroll down the History menu (click on the Tools menu in Windows XP) and select Clear recent history….
Establish the Time range to clear or clear everything.
Click on the arrow beside Details to expand the list of history items.
Select Cookies and ensure that other elements that you wish to keep are not selected.
Click on Clear now to remove the cookies and then close the Clear recent history window.
To block or allow cookies:
1. In the upper part of the Firefox window, click on the Firefox button, scroll down the Tools menu and click on “Options”.
2. Once inside, click on the “Privacy” box. Once inside the “History” section, select “Use custom settings for history”.
3. Once inside, deselect the Cookies box to Block them or select the Cookies allowed and the amount of time you want them to be saved for.
– For the Internet Explorer browser:
To delete cookies in Internet Explorer:
Open Internet Explorer on your desktop.
Press or click on the tools button, move your mouse to Safety and then press or click on Delete browsing history.
Select the Cookies box and then press or click on Delete.
Open Internet Explorer on your desktop.
Press or click on the Tools button and then press or click on Internet Options.
Press or click on the Privacy tab and, in Settings, drag the slider fully to the top to block all cookies or fully to the bottom to allow all cookies and press or click on Accept.
To block or allow cookies:
When you block cookies, it can stop certain pages from displaying correctly.
– For the Opera browser:
Open Opera on your desktop.
Press or click on the “settings” button, which is the following:

Press or click on the Privacy and Security tab.
Once inside, drag the slider down to the Cookies section. Here, a series of options will appear:
